Skoulaman realizes his music live in real time, and exhibits a talent for working in the heat of a fleeting moment. By concentrating on live concerts Hans van Kroonenburg has perfected his skills in performance techniques and the musical journey. Using a range of vintage and modern analog style synthesizers he commands immediate control over all aspects of the music as it is happening. With its arching melodies and well developed narrative his concerts provide a pleasant, low-wattage drift through a vivid electronic consonance

Setting airy strings next to rapid daubs of echoing arpeggio notes, each work develops and builds of its own accord. Repeating synchronized tone patterns enter, once introduced by reverberant electric piano and luxuriant solo synth leads. Possessing a freewheeling immediacy this metrical music speaks to us in the voice of an old friend

An avid concert performer, Skoulaman made his state-side debut in Philadelphia at The Gatherings Concert Series debut on 18 May 2019.

Coinciding with this performance, Skoulaman played a live on-air radio concert on the 05.19.19 broadcast of STAR'S END Ambient Radio.
