From watchtower stillness and unstructured fluidity to a cultivated sonorous inertia, Journal exhibits a powerful artistic effect - managing to lift listeners to new heights, while maintaining such superb musical values. As vague sonic forms and eager ambient details conduct the mind toward the invention of meaning, melody, harmony and rhythm direct our thoughts in the search for the self. Just as drums motor, roll and crest beneath propulsive patterns of sequencer notes, a dramatic current of chords ascend consonant scales. Exerting a serene, secure authority the music gently journeys back and forth between dynamism and contemplation. Nebulous, chaotic and beyond measurement, then shimmering with celestial awe Journal was realized for us, for our enrichment and restoration. Working off the energy of imagination, somewhere within this sigh of infinity is a grand space for seeking - where the spark of reason shines so brightly.
