The Gatherings Concert Series - The Series of Innovative Music
Passing its 15th year, The Gatherings Concert Series has grown in scope and stature, attracting enthusiastic and informed audiences to numerous compelling performances by the world's most innovative musicians. The 2008 season includes concerts by Jeffrey Koepper, Jason Sloan, Stars of the Lid, The Ministry of Inside Things, Dean De Benedictis + Vic Hennegan, Ashley Roedelius & Story and others. Events take place within the remarkable space of the church sanctuary at St. Mary's Hamilton Village, 3916 Locust Walk on the Penn campus in West Philadelphia, PA.

The Mendelssohn Club

Based in Philadelphia since 1979, The Relache Ensemble is dedicated to the development and performance of music from the late 20th century. World Cafe Live - Live Music
World Cafe Live opened in October 2004. Two concert stages make up the venue, the main stage, "Downstairs Live", holds up to 700 people for ticket-only concerts while "Upstairs Live", offering dinner and drinks, can handle about 100 people and presents almost daily free performances. WCL licenses the name of WXPN's nationally syndicated "World Cafe" program for the venue, and though it shares building space with the radio station, located at 3025 Walnut St. in Philadelphia, they operate independently.
