 On the broadcast of 08.17.03 STAR'S END featured a live in-studio radio concert with ambient soundscape artist Jason Sloan; a visual performance/sound/installation artist working out of Baltimore. Sloan's aural work is created with computers, guitar and environmental sounds extracted from his surroundings and aligns with the spiritual - auditory stimulation which represents a transcendance of the physical world. His live set on STAR'S END moved through four distinct areas of sound and mood and consisted of new and unreleased material created specifically for the live broadcast. Photos from the concert are posted below. Jason Sloan returned to STAR'S END on the broadcast of 08.06.06.
